 MOVE TO THE MIDWEST! My husband and I got 10 packs of film in a couple small Minnesota towns while on our honeymoon roadtrip. They had Spectra film, too! So, if you're in search of film and don't feel like being extorted on eBay, maybe think about driving through Minnesota! And while you're on the road, check out Wall, South Dakota. day 184: i give up.
okay i'm halfway done with "project 365" and i'm so over it, i give up. that doesn't mean i'm not going to post pictures every day but i'm too lazy to keep track anymore. jason told me (for the umpteenth time) today that i spend too much time on the internet and that's why i'm so antisocial and weird. he's totally riiiight. i will continue maintaining my food blog but i'm too lazy for this thing allll the damn tiiiime anymore. blaaaaah! i will probably still update like 30 times a day, but i'm not going to treat it like a dang JOB anymore, jeez louise.
i'm "babysitting" which is basically me sitting on my friend's couch while her kiddo sleeps in the next room. i'm watching a henry darger documentary and fighting off sleep, i'm so relaxed on this couch, listening to the trees rustle outside. |

what a busy week! i went to atlanta first with palmer and simmons and we had a blast. we saw summer slaughter tour at the masquerade on tuesday night, and cryptopsy and vader blew my fckn head off. but cryptopsy was off the chain!!! saw some pensacola friends there, how weird
then we went to a house show at a collective space that was the best building i've ever been in. there was a darkroom, and a digital media room and art all over the walls and they had shows downstairs. we were supposed to see fiya but they played before we got there :(, no biggie though because they'll be at sluggo's on the 20th.
on wednesday we went to atl guitar works to see if they could fix my beautiful baby and they said they could and quoted me a price of 1/2 what everyone else was telling me! then lenox square, i have never seen a more beautiful mall.
then DETHKLOK ruled forever and we came home after the show, me and simmons asleep while josh blared music to keep himself awake.
today was busy, and i have to go to work soon, but tomorrow i'm driving to the cabin to have july 4th celebration with my family, we're gonna get crunk! i guess there's an underwear party at my house tonight? i don't know about all that, i'm going to camp out in my room with anakin and try to get him to let me pick him up.
thanks to nat for letting us use her gps because without it we would probably be in new york by now

Cat Fishing  I think I should start drawing my comics in a different sketch book, one that is bigger so that the edges will actually scan. I had to cut out the pages of my Norway comic for this reason! |

 Things have sucked but now they're better and I went to the Grand Canyon yesterday and I stood 6 inches from a fledgling hummingbird and I saw turkey babies and most of the nests on my plot have fledged and I'm supposed to shoot guns with my coworkers today. No time to write any more! |

Polaroid Wedding I really wanted to have Polaroid play a big part in my wedding pictures. Unfortunately, people weren't as thrilled with using my One600 as I thought they'd be, but there are still some great pictures that were taken. I got the Adesso Instant Photo Guestbook so people could take pictures of themselves in groups and put that in the page they were signing, and that went pretty well. I am still scanning photos from the wedding week, but here is the best one so far. It was taken by my friend ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) themary27 just after my trial day at the hair stylist. This was not my actual wedding day, but I wore the veil for most of the day anyway just because. Enjoy!  |

Toe Woe
Mornin old world.
Today weirdly my foot hurts but not in the wound, on the other side the outside of the foot where nothing happened. I had a bandage on kind of tight so I took that off but there is not even a red spot. I'm outta my pain pills which is fine. The wound itself feels pretty good. A good portion of my toe is completely numb though. :\ It's fun to poke.
This morning I feel "nothing" and "devastated" equally.
My allergies are gonna be bad today but I don't want to take a claritin. I'm on so many medicines. Plus I like sneezing.
I'm bummed because I got a 70 on a quiz. We are starting shakespeare and uuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhhhh can't stand the guy. The library opens at 1 I still plan to go there all day. I don't know if I'll go out tonight. It's Thursday which is horrible. If I see him I will cry. I blahhhhh
At least I felt some other things for some hours right. That was the point right? One of the points

Lightning Bug Butt I went out to Better Bargains today in search of sunglasses (mine are lost in the Japanese Gardens), but I didn't find any. Instead, I picked up some clothes for my etsy shop. This makes up for the fact that I was too sleepy this morning to go to the bins. Check it:      Ariel, do you have a skirt like this?? It looks familiar somehow. I also took this funny photobooth picture for Rachel today:  I look weird! I look... tanned? I'm not, it's just the photo. Also my hair is too long and I have to cut it off. Some guy on etsy contacted me about buying a bunch of my zines to sell on his "distro tour", whatever that means. He wanted to buy some wholesale, but I paid $1.37 to make each one, and I'm selling them for $2, so how can I really lower the price for him? I don't think I can. It cost $1.37 because I had to pay for the more expensive, $0.28 per page double-sided copies (on the nicer, thicker laser paper) and $0.25 each to have them folded/stapled. I know it's retarded to pay for that, but I don't have access to a long-armed stapler and they don't have one for you to use at kinkos ("fed ex kinkos"), those jerks. Anyone have any good suggestions for me as to how I can lower my production costs? Maybe I should be going to the IPRC? I don't know. Please help me I am a beginner. Also, haha, please, don't tell me that I should do the zine symposium. So many people have said that already! I am considering it, but I don't know it I will be available. I am expecting a few visitors in August and hopefully I will get a change to go to Canada that month too, so I don't know. I just do not know. Obviously it's cheap and if I can do it, I will. YAY Ok, my wrists hurt from all this computer use today. We just saw a cool commercial that is anti-online-bullying. Here's what I think: YOU GUYS R ALL GAY U SmELL AMI ritE? |

KEEP OUT!  I pass this sign almost everyday. This is the first time I walked up to it and discovered that plank of wood which appears to be covering something really creepy. We're going to see at midnight. Also, there's a kitty skeleton not 5 feet away. It's a scary place. By the way, everyone should choose to watch Blue Demon. Smith Bros' I picked up a Polaroid 405 Pack Film Back for my 4x5 camera today - been enjoying shooting the Polaroids so much I thought I'd try it in my main large format camera. 3:21 is too late for lunch I'm making our lunch now. It's so late! We're having jasmine rice, broccoli and some bok choi-style green thing with sweet chili sauce. Boring, whatever. We don't have white rice very often, man that stuff tastes like candy! It took me sooo long to get all the comics and etsy stuff packaged up this morning! It was fine though, I was chatting away with Rachel & Lisa on googz so it was good times. The post office was slow, I think everyone's on vacation or something so it was one regular worker and one dude from the back who had a hard time with the computer. I am going to do this survey now.
